Job Category Athletic Staff Coach/Trainer Position Title Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach - Women’s Basketball & Other Sports Full Time/Part Time Full Time Division Athletics Department Strength & Fitness Work Arrangement Type On-Site (Hamilton, NY) – expected to work fully at the designated campus/office location. Hiring Wage/Salary Range $62,890 - $64,000 Professional Experience/ Qualifications Prior coaching, graduate assistant, or intern experience in a collegiate strength and conditioning setting. Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are required. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Health, Physical Education, or related field. Two years of coaching at the collegiate level. Strong background in teaching or coaching ground-based movements. Education Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health, Physical Education, or related field is required. Certifications Certification in one or more of the following: CSCS (NSCA), SCCC (CSCCa) A current valid driver’s license, in accordance with the University’s Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy is required. Accountabilities Reporting directly to the Director of Strength and Conditioning, this position will be responsible for women’s basketball and other men’s and women’s contact and non-contact sports. This includes ensuring a safe and effective working environment in the varsity weight room, strength and conditioning program development and implementation for assigned sports, and working closely with the sports medicine program within university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
