We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join the team and support the successful execution of commercial construction projects. Position Summary As an Assistant Superintendent , you will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Management team to coordinate field operations, ensure job site safety, maintain quality standards, and help keep the project on schedule. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing daily on-site activities and subcontractor coordination Enforce project safety plans and ensure OSHA compliance Support the Superintendent in monitoring the construction schedule and sequencing Assist with quality control and ensure work is completed to plans and specifications Help track deliveries, materials, and manpower Maintain detailed field reports, logs, and photos Attend and contribute to subcontractor meetings and inspections Serve as a liaison between field staff and office-based project team Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in an Assistant Superintendent or Field Engineer role Working knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, and safety standards Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and/or similar construction management software OSHA 30 certification preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Reliable transportation and ability to travel between job sites in the LA/Santa Monica area What They Offer Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement and professional development Collaborative and team-oriented work environment
