Assistant Teacher - Early Childhood

Canterbury's Hough Campus is seeking a flexible and creative assistant teacher who will be responsible for aiding the lead teacher in shaping and delivering a unique early childhood education experience that sets a foundation for learning excellence and fosters a lifelong love of learning.This nurturing assistant will help the lead teacher with classroom management, deliver and continue to enhance the early childhood curriculum, and will work closely with the other kindergarten teachers, aides, and all enrichment teachers.This assistant teacher will have a commitment to the School's mission.It is expected that each person contributes to a positive culture by building collaborative, collegial, and respectful relationships with colleagues and overtly supporting fellow teachers and administrators.Requirements:A Bachelor's Degree or two years of education in the related field preferred Required Credentials needed for licensing regulations (may complete when hired) Skills in early childhood pedagogy, childhood development, and instructional strategies Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Commitment to professional development Proficient in educational technology Outstanding professionalism Level II Background Screening will be required through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.Learn more at https://info.flclearinghouse.com Those interested in this part-time position should send a letter of interest and resume to the Head of Hough Campus at employment@canterburyflorida.org.Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $15.00 per hour Education:Bachelor's (Required) Work Location:In person.
