Job Summary The Associate Brand Manager will report to the Senior Brand Manager to drive public-facing outreach, strengthen brand perception through campaigns, and build strategic relationships that support long-term growth. This role assists in overseeing brand trademarks and brand consistency and owns B2B outreach and partnership support. This role requires strong communication, copywriting, interpersonal, and analytical skills, along with a high level of organization and attention to detail. A genuine interest in the trading card game (TCG) and collectibles industry is essential, including staying current on market trends, products, and consumer behavior. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Work with the Senior Brand Manager to lead public-facing outreach initiatives to enhance brand perception and cultivate strategic business relationships that support long-term growth. Present key marketing plans in internal team, corporate, and partner meetings. Support a broad range of marketing projects including high-priority product launches, new product introductions, seasonal campaigns, and corporate initiatives. Draft and own marketing and packaging copy across all product lines. Provide direction and constructive feedback to creative development for marketing campaign graphics, media creative, and ad development to achieve brand goals before finalizing and submitting to licensing teams for approval. Own the execution of distributor email solicitations, ensuring all communications are accurate, on-brand, visually polished, and delivered on schedule. Manage robust timelines and workflows while providing consistent status reports. Identify product and marketing opportunities by conducting qualitative, quantitative, competitive, trend, and industry research. Assist Global Brand Director in overseeing the development of product naming strategies, ensuring alignment with overall brand architecture, positioning, and long-term portfolio objectives. Collaborate closely with legal counsel to conduct comprehensive trademark searches, secure registrations, and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable intellectual property regulations. Oversee the development and execution of B2B email outreach initiatives by directing external graphic contractors and providing clear direction streamlining processes and maintaining consistency and efficiency across creative assets. Ensure accuracy and consistency of product nomenclature and maintain cohesive brand alignment across all communications and assets. Work with Global Brand Director to integrate, develop and execute PR and communications strategies into the marketing function to strengthen brand visibility, manage messaging, and support key business initiatives. Assist with the execution of large events at the consumer, retailer and distributor level. Develop and maintain member databases (distributors and retailers). Provide distributors with product information for releases. Support trade shows, events, and partner activations as needed. Other duties as assigned; domestic and/or international travel as needed. Promote company policies and participate in required company-wide programs as directed. Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines at all times. Excellent project management and organizational skills Ability to leverage AI tools as needed to improve efficiency in content creation, research, and marketing workflows, while adhering to company policies and licensor guidelines Education/Experience Requisites BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or PR, or equivalent practical experience 3+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, community management, or digital marketing roles Experience working with licensed properties and licensing partners Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Familiarity with project management software
