Who You’ll Work With Currently, we are a small team of insurance data analytics specialists. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with expert colleagues as well as our clients. We are growth-oriented and plan to be adding team members in the quarters ahead. About You As an Associate Consultant, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing innovative data solutions. Working closely with senior consultants and client teams, you will assist in building and maintaining data pipelines, transforming raw data into usable formats, and supporting our analytics and business intelligence initiatives. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates looking to launch a career in data analytics. What You’ll Do Data Pipeline Development: Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines for ETL/ELT processes. Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud storage). Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to understand data requirements. Support the development and maintenance of data models, data warehouses, and data lakes. Help ensure data quality, consistency, security, and availability across the organization. Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Document systems, workflows, and data definitions. Data Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges, define data requirements, and develop meaningful metrics for tracking data governance improvements. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in insurance data. Collect, cleanse, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity. Prepare clear and concise reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate data findings to stakeholders. Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to understand client objectives and challenges. Build strong relationships with client stakeholders by collaborating to develop high-quality deliverables. Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner. Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics, data management and governance, and consulting. Develop expertise in advanced analytics techniques. Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives by sharing insights, experiences, and emerging trends and technologies related to data management and data governance in the insurance industry. Encourage a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Ideal candidates will have 0-1 year of professional work experience; however, we will consider current college graduates with good internships. Must be available to start immediately. At this time, we are not considering future college graduates. GPA of 3.5+ is required. Experience with SQL (e.g., writing queries, joins, aggregations) is required. Experience with programming in Python is required. Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Exposure to data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Airflow, or DBT) is desirable but not required. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly. Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer without visa requirements now or in the future.
