Also, CBCT scan is done at FWOMS and discussed together with Dr. Lugakingira Mentorship and collaboration with Dr. Mulokozi Lugakingira (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon) JOB DESCRIPTION Simba Dental is a privately-owned dental group in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are seeking a motivated, patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our growing team in our state-of-the-art 9606 Coldwater Rd facility. This is a high-autonomy role inside a modern, fully digital practice with strong specialty support, a 4-day Monday through Thursday schedule, and a clear runway for growth. The ideal candidate is comfortable with bread-and-butter restorative work, crowns and bridge work for both regular and implants restorations, veneers, Invisalign, Botox (if you want), endodontics, implants retained overdentures, and fixed implants full arch restorations, just to mention a few. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct comprehensive oral exams, diagnose dental conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans Perform a full range of general dentistry procedures including restorations, crowns, bridges, extractions, and root canal therapy Interpret digital radiographs and execute treatment Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and post-operative care to promote long-term outcomes Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, and specialists to deliver coordinated care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in Dentrix Ascend Cloud Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC infection-control standards at every visit Stay current with continuing education and emerging dental technologies Build trust, long-term patient relationships and contribute to a positive office culture Participating in case reviews and clinical mentorship with Dr. Lugakingira REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school Active Indiana Dental License (or eligibility to obtain one before starting date) Active DEA registration (or eligibility) Current CPR / BLS certification (standard requirement for clinical dental roles) Strong clinical proficiency in restorative, endodontic, and routine general dentistry Excellent verbal and written communication skills Commitment to patient-first, ethical care PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1+ years of clinical experience in a private practice setting (new graduates with strong externship experience will be considered) Experience with Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend Cloud is a plus Comfort with intraoral scanning, and digital workflows Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus SKILLS Excellent chair-side manners and patient communication Strong clinical decision-making and treatment planning Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline Self-motivated and proactive in continuing education Patient confidentiality and HIPAA awareness Pay: $300,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance
