Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our thriving dental team. Duties Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Deliver specialized treatments such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, oral surgery, and endodontics with precision and care. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate treatment plans effectively with patients and team members. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Prepare detailed medical documentation and update electronic health records using dental software platforms like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness. Requirements Valid state licensure as a licensed Dentist with current credentials to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques. Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on pediatric dentistry preferred. Ability to perform oral surgeries and handle pediatric dentistry cases with patience and professionalism. Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and team collaboration.
