Board Member Job Posting – Associate Director (Volunteer) Foundation : Strong Path Position : Board Member, Associate Director Pay : Volunteer (Pay will be discussed in the future once funds are granted) Are you an individual who wants to help the community? Do you have a passion for helping others? If so, Strong Path Foundation is the place to be. The founder, Johnae Strong, is passionate about helping the community. Some individuals are not as fortunate as others. This does not mean that they are not hard-working, smart, or resilient. Just means life gave that person a curveball. Strong Path Foundation is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing hardship. We provide food assistance, hygiene products, clothing, youth support, baby essentials, and stability services. Role Overview: The associate director serves as a key leadership partner to the president and the board. This role helps guide organizational strategy, oversees programs, supports fundraising, and ensures smooth operations. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone passionate about community service and nonprofit growth. Responsibilities · Leadership Support- Assist the President with planning, decision-making, and organizational development. · Program Oversight- Help monitor and strengthen programs such as food assistance, youth support, and family services. · Volunteer Coordination- Support recruitment, training, and engagement, and community partnership. · Fundraising and outreach- Assist with grant writing, donor engagement, and community partnerships. · Board Collaboration- Work closely with board members to support governance and strategic goals. · Community Representation- Attend events, meetings, and outreach activities as a representation of the organization. · Administration Support- Assist with documentations, reporting, and internal communications. Qualifications · Leadership experience · Strong Communication Skills · Organizational and planning skills · Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups. · Passion for Strong Path Foundations’ mission and community impact. Time Commitment · At least 6-10 hours a week · Weekly Meetings · Participate in planning sessions and major events.
