Hawai'i Pacific University is designated as an Alaskan Native and Native Hawaiian (ANNH) Serving Institution by the US Department of Education.As such, we strive for accurate displays of the Hawaiian language in all our institutional materials.This includes the appropriate use of diacritical marks such as the 'okina and kahako.Unfortunately, at times external vendors and other third-party technology integrations do not support the use of these characters.Mahalo for your understanding.Description Job Summary:The Associate Director of Dual Credit Outreach Programs leads and oversees all aspects of HPU's dual credit initiatives in collaboration with high schools.Responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for partner schools; conducting needs assessments; coordinating program development, scheduling, and implementation; managing student recruitment and enrollment processes; overseeing budgets; ensuring compliance with academic policies and requirements; and evaluating program outcomes to support continuous improvement.Location:This position is located at our Pioneer Plaza office site in downtown Honolulu.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree Experience in a continuing education setting and program administration Experience developing and promoting outreach programs Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications Qualifications:Master's Degree in a relevant field of study Three years' experience in a continuing education setting and program administration.Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and adhere to established deadlines Experience with Banner and Navigate systems Experience proctoring Accuplacer and ALEKS placement tests Experience with AP, CLEP, and transcript evaluations Knowledge of admissions, registration, and petition to graduate processes Three years' experience developing and promoting outreach programs (non-credit included) for various industries and populations Excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and balance priorities.Demonstrated commitment to and interest in continuing education and lifelong learning.Experience in working with diverse populations of students, faculty, community members, business/industry leaders Other Qualifications:Report to work obligations to support the department may require work during HPU's winter break, if necessary.Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to all HPU worksites and other locations as required.Some travel on island is required.Available to work evenings and weekends as needed.Must meet training and background check qualifications and comply with the Protection of Minors policy.Able to work all shifts and extended hours Strong analytical skills and the ability to work well under pressure are required.Successful candidate will be able to work in an environment that utilizes excellent time and stress management skills.Key Responsibilities:1.Lead and administer outreach programs for the College of Extended and Interdisciplinary Education (60%):Plan, develop, implement and supervise the University's dual-credit outreach programs.Directs the development of new courses, training and/or programs as needs are identified Leads the development of curriculum including syllabi, handouts, etc.or modifies existing curriculum to meet client needs Interacts with department chairs, faculty, business/industry leaders, community professionals, and program participants to develop and deploy entrepreneurial programs for the purposes of economic and cultural regional development and revenue generation.Develops engagement plans and outreach initiatives to promote programs and recruit participants.Identifies, recruits, trains, and supervises instructors.2.Analyzes, observes and evaluates the effectiveness of programs (25 %):Prepares statistical reports and maintains files.Reviews and participates in the development of class schedules and programs 3.Oversees all fiscal processes for assigned program areas (15 %):Develops budgets, approves expenditures, and maintains record of all expenses related to the programs Negotiates contracts with vendors for food services, meeting rooms, instructional materials, promotional items, etc; for functions that are hosted, organized, or sponsored by the College of Professional Studies.4.Perform other related duties as assigned (5%) Actively participates as an effective member of a team by completing assigned duties, accepting additional assignments or reassignments.Assist with seasonal peaks This description is not designed to list all activities, duties or responsibilities which may be required for this job.Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned at any time.Hawaii Pacific University is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse, equitable environment in which faculty and staff can excel irrespective of race, c
