The successful candidate will be a key player in a fast-paced, thriving environment, providing essential legal advice and guidance on a wide range of matters. This includes but is not limited to, litigation management, contract negotiation, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The role demands a professional with a strong background in construction law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Key responsibilities for the Associate General Counsel at the company include managing all aspects of litigation, from coordination with outside counsel to internal and external party engagement. The role also involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts and agreements related to construction projects, as well as advising on regulatory compliance and aligning company policies with applicable laws. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, be admitted to the state bar, and have a proven track record in litigation management. Strong knowledge of construction, contract, and corporate law is essential, as is the ability to proactively identify and mitigate legal risks. The position requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in legal research tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
