As the Marketplace Seller Support Associate Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a high performing, compliant, and customer‑centric seller ecosystem within our marketplace. You will be responsible for setting and monitoring seller performance standards, managing escalations, and providing operational support to both sellers and internal teams, with an added emphasis on optimizing the quality, relevance, and overall health of the Best Buy Marketplace catalog to deliver a trusted and intuitive shopping experience. The position combines process optimization, compliance oversight, proactive issue resolution, and content/catalog performance improvement to maintain marketplace integrity and deliver exceptional seller and buyer experiences. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, operational excellence, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team, and the recruiter or hiring manager will provide additional details during the hiring process. What You’ll Do Own seller product approval standards and cadence, ensuring only high‑quality, compliant, and customer‑appropriate listings are approved for the Best Buy Marketplace. Optimize marketplace catalog quality and relevance by proactively identifying and driving content enrichment opportunities that build customer trust and confidence, and position Best Buy to maximize visibility in external discovery platforms. Continuously evaluate overall product catalog health, including breadth, redundancy, and relevance, to ensure the marketplace complements customer needs without adding friction or complexity to the shopping experience. Responsible for monitoring marketplace transactions and operational health metrics to ensure proper processing of orders and timely support for customers; includes management of seller suspensions and/or terminations to ensure overall platform health. Triage any identified issues with respective Best Buy operational/technical teams to drive timely resolution. Oversee quality assurance of marketplace including reviewing seller performance against agreed upon service agreements and working with respective Seller Account Managers to manage performance as necessary. Oversee program compliance with policies and procedures by monitoring seller reviews, customer messaging, catalog content and reviewing test buys with fraud and legal teams. Basic Qualifications 4+ years of experience in marketplace operations, e-commerce support, third party seller operations, vendor operations, or related field 2+ years of experience monitoring operational or performance-based metrics 2+ years of experience supporting product content, product taxonomy, or related experience 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications 2 years of experience supporting or managing third‑party marketplace sellers (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Shopify) Background in seller performance management, compliance monitoring, or policy enforcement Familiarity with fraud review processes or legal/compliance partnerships within an e‑commerce environment Demonstrated ability to work and influence cross-functional teams to drive positive business outcomes Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills What’s In It For You We’re committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
