Job Overview LCSWA | Therapist | Mental Health Counselor Are you a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) looking to grow your clinical skills while building a consistent caseload in a supportive private practice setting? Genesis Balance Counseling, PLLC is seeking a motivated and ethically grounded Associate Therapist to join our team. This W-2 position is ideal for early-career clinicians who want structured support, steady client referrals, and the opportunity to develop their clinical voice in a collaborative environment. Compensation $45–$55 per clinical session Equivalent to approximately $52,000–$60,000 annually at a full caseload What We Provide Consistent client referrals to help you build and maintain your caseload Full administrative support (scheduling, billing, client coordination) Clinical guidance and collaborative team support Flexible scheduling with autonomy over your availability Streamlined systems to reduce administrative burden Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide outpatient therapy services to adult clients Implement evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, mindfulness) Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Establish and maintain a consistent weekly schedule Collaborate with administrative staff and clinical team members Participate in team consultations and professional development Adhere to all ethical and legal standards under North Carolina licensure laws Qualifications Clinical Competence Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning Ability to conduct clinical assessments and apply appropriate interventions Experience or training in evidence-based modalities Documentation & Compliance Timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards Adherence to NASW and North Carolina licensure guidelines Communication & Teamwork Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment Receptive to feedback and ongoing development Organization & Reliability Ability to manage a consistent caseload and maintain scheduled sessions Strong time management and organizational skills Technology Familiarity with EHR systems (SimplePractice preferred) Basic proficiency with standard computer systems and communication tools Requirements Master’s degree in Social Work or related field Active LCSWA license in North Carolina Learn more about our practice: Website: https://www.genesisbalance.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/genesisbalance Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Paid time off Professional development assistance Application Question(s): Please provide your license number.
