Under direction of the Senior Transportation Planner, a Branch Chief, within the Office to the Strategic Freight Planning the Associate Transportation Planner leads in the development and updating of the State Freight Plan, implementation of the California Sustainable Freight Action Plan, the coordination of the freight outreach activities, and other actions supporting the Department’s freight planning responsibilities.
