Associate Vice President, Financial Process Transformation About the Company Industry leading insurance company Industry Insurance Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Financial Process Transformation. The successful candidate will be a proactive and forward-thinking finance leader with a strong technical background, systems skills, and the ability to lead change efforts across the enterprise. Key responsibilities for this role include supporting the implementation of new financial regulations and policies, researching and analyzing complex transactions, providing hands-on support for process improvements, and leading special projects that drive strategic goals. The role also involves building and sustaining effective relationships with subsidiary finance teams, mentoring and training staff, and managing special assignments as needed. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in business, with a preference for those with 7+ years' of experience, particularly in the insurance industry. Proficiency in financial systems, software applications, and data modeling is essential, as is an awareness of modern IT tools, including AI and low-code platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and experience in financial analysis, due diligence, and FP&A activities. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines are also key requirements. A CPA is preferred but not mandatory.
