Emmanuel University, located in northeast Georgia, is accepting applications for a Full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer. Job Summary: The Assistant Athletic Trainer works under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer and supervises the care of student athletes competing in Emmanuel University's NCAA Division 11 athletic programs. The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of injuries within the University's comprehensive sports medicine program. Emmanuel University is a NCAA Division II program and a member of the Conference Carolina conference. The successful candidate be committed to compliance with the NCAA, Conference Carolina, and Emmanuel University regulations. Primary Responsibilities: Prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses. Counseling and Educating student athletes. Athletic training administrative duties. Covering home and away trip events for high-risk sports and post-season national events. Sport Availability: M/W Basketball, M/W Volleyball, M/W Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Women's Acrobatics/Tumbling. Supervising and educating athletic training intern students. Working with doctors and other allied health professionals to deliver quality care to student athletes.
