Asst. Teacher

Responsibilities Be able to communicate clearly and teach with enthusiasm, inspire creativity and imagination. Interact with parents and other teachers. Be able to handle discipline, assigned student work, meeting deadlines, and be goal oriented. Be able to work with children with special needs, such as those who have learning disabilities or emotional issues. Adapt teaching materials to the particular grade level. Provide a safe environment for students and teachers. Maintain records of student progress and administer tests as needed. Be familiar with state and national standards for your teaching position.
