Job Description
Callahan & Fusco is expanding its Georgia presence and seeking one to two Associate or Senior Associate attorneys (2+ years of experience) for its growing Decatur office. This is an opportunity to join a technology-forward, metric-driven regional litigation firm representing national insurance carriers and a high-profile international trucking client. Our clients are actively requesting expanded support in Georgia, and we are focused on building a strong, long-term presence in the market. Position Overview This role offers meaningful case responsibility and hands-on litigation experience. Attorneys in this office are expected to actively manage files, conduct depositions, appear in court, and try cases. The practice includes Trucking and transportation litigation General insurance defense Premises liability Construction and construction defect Product liability Condo association litigation Fraud-related insurance matters Associates will have the opportunity to conduct their own depositions and gain trial experience. The firm places a heightened emphasis on fraud-related insurance activity and strategic case handling. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $95,000 – $180,000, commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus program (details provided during interview process) Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) program Hybrid schedule: three days in-office, two remote (Tuesdays and Thursdays are firmwide anchor days) Qualifications 2+ years of Georgia litigation experience Active Georgia Bar admission (required) Insurance defense or trucking litigation experience preferred Deposition experience preferred Strong analytical, writing, and courtroom skills Comfortable working in a client-facing, data-driven environment The firm is open to candidates with portable books of business or small teams and will also consider strong plaintiff-side litigators interested in transitioning to the defense side.
