Overview The Attorney Talent Operations Assistant (“Operations Assistant”) works with all Attorney Talent Operations (ATO) team members to provide critical administrative and operational support across the full life cycle of an attorney at the firm. Working with a high-performing global team, the Operations Assistant contributes to a variety of attorney-related personnel programs and processes. Responsibilities Attorney Departure Process: Assisting with the logistics of the attorney departure process. Liaises between various business support team members and performs administrative tasks relating to the departure process. Global Mobility: Providing logistical support for the Global Opportunities Program and related firm-supported assignments and relocations, as well as administrative support for the employee immigration processes. Lateral Attorney Onboarding: Assisting with end-to-end coordination of U.S. lateral attorney onboarding, including scheduling, cross-departmental communication, and execution of time-sensitive tasks to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Bar Admissions and Compliance: Supporting the management of bar admissions processes, including jurisdictional compliance tracking, coordination of firmwide bar-related education, and responding to policy and compliance inquiries. Serving as a resource to Legal Recruiting, Global Mobility, and other business functions on bar compliance matters. Client Secondment Process: Assisting with secondments. Gathers approvals, helps draft secondment agreements, and coordinates with various business support team members to ensure successful administration of incoming and outgoing secondments. Tracks and synthesizes secondment details to assist with record-keeping. Data & Technology Management: Maintain accurate tracking systems and support data integrity across onboarding, compliance, and operational workstreams. Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide visibility into progress, compliance, team capacity, and attendance. Leverage technology and AI tools to streamline administrative tasks, improve turnaround times, and facilitate status updates and communications. Process Improvement & Standardization: Identify and address workflow inefficiencies, document and standardize processes, and develop templates and resources to enhance operational efficiency across team workstreams. Attorney Development & Operations Support: Assist with attorney development programs, including orientation, integration, and performance reviews. Provide general operations support by managing process calendars, checklists, electronic workspaces, spreadsheets, department webpages, and administrative tasks such as document and presentation creation. Support Attorney Talent assignments, operations, and special projects as needed. Qualifications ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES: Conscientious, well organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative.
