Job Summary:We are seeking an Attorney to join our legal team on a temporary or per diem basis from July 1, 2026 through September 30, 2026 with the opportunity for full time employment thereafter.The ideal candidate will be highly organized and reliable with excellent communication and negotiation skills.Responsibilities: Represent clients in Summary Process eviction court proceedings and hearings - Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements - Keep track of court docket and prepare all summary process files for court Qualifications: Admitted to the state bar association and in good standing - Experience in litigating cases would be helpful, particularly in the area of housing law -Familiarity with legal administrative tasks and procedures This position is on a temporary basis with the possibility of leading to permanent employment.Job Type:Temporary Pay:$5,000.00 - $7,500.00 per month Benefits:Flexible schedule License/Certification:Bar (Preferred) Ability to Commute:Waterbury, CT 06702 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Waterbury, CT 06702:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
