Auction Clerk - Part time

United Producers, Inc.(UPI) is one of the nation's largest livestock marketing cooperatives.We are currently looking for a PART-TIME Auction Clerk to work at our Salem and Shelbyville livestock auction facilities on Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY, varying from 4 to 10 hours each day.Must meet the following requirements:Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency using computers Ability to troubleshoot basic computer issues Knowledge of livestock preferred Responsibilities include:Entering livestock tag number, description, price and buyer information into the computer system accurately during the auction.Enter seller information as needed.Ensure that computers and TVs are working properly prior to the sale.Troubleshoot any computer issues during the sale, as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Desired experience and requirements:Proficiency using computers and prior data entry experience with high efficiency.Excellent Communication, Listening skills and Customer Service skills.Prior experience working with livestock (cattle, sheep, hogs) is preferred.Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varied weather.Job Type:Part-time Application Question(s):Do you have cattle knowledge?
