Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Audiology Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and perform insurance verification using Ecw. Schedule appointments accurately utilizing Ecw Manage patient intake and assist with documentation review to ensure completeness and accuracy of medical records. Handle medical billing and coding tasks Maintain comprehensive medical records Support front desk operations by answering multi-line phone systems professionally, managing appointment reminders, and providing excellent patient service. Assist with office management tasks phones, check in/check out, payment collection Utilize computer skills to update patient information, process payments, and manage health information efficiently using software like Eaglesoft or Meditech. Experience Prior clinic experience or medical office experience is highly preferred, especially within audiology or ENT clinics. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical billing/coding practices including CPT and ICD coding. Experience working with Ecw is preferred Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently. Familiarity with insurance verification processes for Medicare and private payers is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and health information management.
