Join a dedicated healthcare facility in the Central Plains region as a Licensed Journeyman Plumber. This role involves installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures and piping systems essential for medical operations, including steam, water, gas, air, vacuum, oxygen, and other medical gases, as well as backflow preventers, all in compliance with relevant standards. Essential Responsibilities: Install and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures throughout the facility. Conduct ongoing inspections and testing of plumbing infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues independently. Prepare inspection reports, project timelines, and repair cost estimates for management. Perform routine maintenance and respond to urgent plumbing needs, including on-call duties during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain professional communication with patients, team members, contractors, physicians, and external agencies. Education and Experience: Completion of a recognized journeyman plumbing program is required. Construction background and experience with medical gases are preferred. Licenses and Certifications: Current licensure as a Licensed Journeyman Plumber in the relevant state is mandatory. Backflow Preventer certification is required. Medical gas certification is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of plumbing codes, ordinances, and commercial fire codes. Familiarity with piping, fixtures, and plumbing equipment. Basic maintenance skills and effective communication abilities.
