Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Auto Body Shop Buffers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring vehicles are polished to perfection, contributing to the overall quality and appearance of our repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive work and a keen eye for detail. Whether you have dealership experience or hands-on automotive repair skills, your contribution will help us deliver exceptional results to our customers. Responsibilities Use hand tools and power tools to buff, polish, and restore vehicle surfaces to a high-gloss finish Prepare vehicles by cleaning and masking areas prior to buffing or polishing processes Operate automotive diagnostics equipment and mechanical tools as needed during finishing procedures Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general upkeep Handle heavy lifting safely while moving vehicles or equipment around the shop Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency Support other team members with automotive service tasks to meet daily workflow demands Qualifications Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance procedures Experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members Service technician experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Join our team at TJs Autobody where your skills will help us deliver outstanding vehicle finishes while growing your career in the automotive industry!
