Job Summmary Music City Dent & Scratch is in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will utilize your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance to deliver outstanding results. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration with precision and efficiency Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including MIG welding), and airless paint sprayers to execute repairs and refinishing tasks Fabricate sheet metal components and perform auto restoration projects to bring vehicles back to showroom condition Conduct auto glass replacement, auto painting, and detailing to ensure a flawless finish Apply auto estimating techniques to assess damage and determine necessary repairs accurately Assist with vehicle assembly, disassembly, and mechanical troubleshooting as needed for comprehensive repairs Maintain safety standards by handling heavy lifting safely and using appropriate personal protective equipment at all times Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures Proficient with hand tools, power tools, auto glass installation equipment, and auto painting tools including airless paint sprayers Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills for effective communication with clients Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of automotive repair processes including auto restoration, assembly, detailing, and auto painting techniques Valid experience or certification in welding, soldering, or automotive repair is a plus Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional vehicle repairs while advancing your skills in a lively and rewarding environment! $1,000 bonus upon successful hiring.
