A day in this role Start your morning by reviewing service calls on a mobile app, loading the right parts, and heading to sites where you’ll keep busy doors moving—automatic sliders, swinging entrances, and manual storefronts. You’ll greet facility teams, diagnose issues, complete clean installs or precise repairs, and leave every opening smooth, safe, and reliable. What you’ll handle Install, service, and fine-tune commercial entrance systems—automatic and manual storefronts included. Walk customers through what you did and provide practical upkeep tips. Use a mobile app to document work, order/track parts, and keep your service vehicle stocked and organized. Work safely and neatly while following AAADM/OSHA guidelines. What helps you succeed 1+ year in commercial doors or a comparable skilled trade. Comfort with power tools and diagnosing mechanical or low-voltage electrical issues. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, take overtime when needed, and rotate through on-call. High school diploma and a clean driving record.
