Job Description
Industrial Equipment Start-up experience is required. Candidate needs to be within 100 miles of the Liberty, NC plant or willing to relocate at their own cost. Benefits for Automation Construction Superintendent: Paid time off (17 PTO days) Paid Holidays (8) 100% employer paid premiums for employee benefits including health, dental and vision insurance 401(k) match of up to 3.5% PAID OT at 1.5x Standard working hours Automation Construction Superintendent Duties: Test and repair electrical equipment or systems. (Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.) Develop detailed schedule for assigned work area / project. Demonstrate the ability to learn new processes by different means. Supporting Machine trials at vendors and internal to company locations. Certify Safety of Equipment per the standards Troubleshooting and repair machine components of hydraulics and pneumatics. Plan and execute machine integration into mass production. (Leveling, adjustment and quality conformation for assigned work area) Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods. Problem solving and continuously improvement of safety, quality, and productivity. Automation Construction Superintendent Requirements: Industrial Controls Engineer/Engineering Tech experience in a manufacturing environment, including equipment installation, modification, and optimization Experience with electrical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment Strong ability to understand GC work for each trade, recognize deficiencies, create plans to fix, and track until closure of the deficiency. Working experience with Electrical Technical experience building utilities Experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic troubleshooting and schematic reading Availability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns - 10hrs-15hrs per week expected Business travel, both domestic and international - up to 30%. (all expenses paid, $75/day meal allowance, paid time travelling) Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day. Ability to ascend & descend stairs throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant. Ability to bend, kneel and crawl to gain access to equipment for repair Ability to lift, push and pull 25 pounds in a one-time event
