**3+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PREFERRED 4 DAY WORK WEEKS HOURLY PAY 6 PAID HOLIDAYS VACATION AND SICK TIME 401K We are a small, busy, and growing automotive and diesel repair facility. We operate out of a 10,000 sq ft building. We utilize 5 Lifts and 9 bays with room to grow. We are looking to fill an open position in our shop. We perform all maintenance and repair functions on automotive, light and medium duty diesel, and even some equipment. We are a bumper to bumper shop. We also perform alignments in house. We are looking for an experienced auto and diesel technician. Immediate opening for a diagnostic professional. We are looking for problem solvers. More time for what matters most to you. We have adopted a four day work week for our technicians. We respect that each on of our technicians work very hard , and that takes a toll on them and their families. We believe that a healthy work life balance is a win win for the shop and for the employee. We pay by the hour. In most cases the Flat Rate system is great for profits for the shop, but terrible for maintaining quality and integrity of our repairs and technicians. We are, for the most part, a "word of mouth" type shop. We Keep 90%+ of our customers that come through our doors. We are able to do this because our team takes pride in what we do. We stay profitable through technician integrity, team attitude, and the satisfaction of our customers. Some of our requirements Valid driver's license and basic tools. Ability to service Brake, Suspension, Exhaust and expedite general automotive repairs as required. Strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from others Hard worker, someone who works diligently to get tasks done and demonstrates personal characteristics, such as responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamwork Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines. 3 years preferred for B level technician. 5+ for A level technician. Pay is DOE and work performance. We offer an hourly wage. Provide automotive services by performing inspections, repairs, maintenance and installations efficiently and safely. Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly. Complete service and repair assignments correctly, provides detailed information of repair procedure performed, to pass quality inspections or test drives. Review and evaluates service write-up to determine if additional information is necessary and what type of diagnosis is needed. Properly follow repeat repair procedure including opening and closing hotline communication through manufacturer. Use computer to look up part availability and repair orders. Use manuals including diagrams as necessary to complete the repair order. Properly dispose of used parts and returns unused parts to the parts counterperson. Complete time ticket correctly and documents proper time clocking on repair order. Use diagnostic procedure to identify the symptoms of the problem, the conditions under which they occur, as well as how often the symptoms occur. Follow safety rules and regulations.
