Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and electrical components. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly. Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess system performance. Conduct welding tasks, including welding techniques, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship for repairs and fabrication. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and equipment history. Collaborate with the industrial electrician team on electrical systems involving low voltage and high voltage components. Utilize field service skills to diagnose issues on-site at various locations within the manufacturing facility or customer sites as needed. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial mechanic within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and industrial maintenance practices. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting involving low and high voltage systems. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as scissor lifts safely and efficiently. Experience working with industrial equipment including HVAC systems, industrial welders, and field service tools. Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation when interacting with clients or team members. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals; experience with CMMS software is preferred. Strong communication skills in English; military background or experience is considered a plus for discipline and technical aptitude.
