Duties Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs for service. Explain repair recommendations clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and outlining necessary repairs such as transmissions, brake repair, oil changes, tire service, suspension, alignment, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repairs. Upsell additional maintenance services by identifying customer needs and explaining benefits to enhance vehicle longevity and safety. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, track progress, and ensure timely completion of services. Manage service writing tasks efficiently while maintaining detailed records of all transactions and work orders. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely. Foster excellent customer relationships through proactive communication, follow-up on service satisfaction, and providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance and automotive diagnostics. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repairs, or as a service technician. Familiarity with auto estimating software and automotive repair procedures including oil changes, tire service, alignments, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, diesel engines, air brakes, and auto body repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and mechanical systems such as transmissions and suspension components. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing multiple priorities efficiently. Sales experience related to automobile sales or parts is a plus but not required.
