In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between our valued customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring vehicle repairs and maintenance are communicated clearly, accurately estimated, and completed efficiently. Your energetic approach will help foster trust, promote service sales, and contribute to the overall success of our Auto Shop. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare detailed auto estimates using auto estimating software, including services like oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems Communicate repair recommendations clearly to customers and additional services such as vehicle diagnostics or mechanical inspections to enhance their vehicle’s performance and safety Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining meticulous records of service orders and customer interactions Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional questions or concerns Skills Proven Auto service writing experience with a strong background in customer service excellence Extensive mechanical knowledge across automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignment, suspension systems, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems Skilled in auto estimating software and automotive repair procedures Experience in service writing combined with sales skills to effectively communicate technical information in an understandable manner Familiarity with mechanic roles such as service technician experience or automotive diagnostics enhances credibility with both customers and technicians Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining accurate records of all financial dealings Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced Auto Shop environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding automotive care!
