Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain vehicles across various systems including powertrain, electrical, transmission, and diesel engines. Conduct vehicle inspections, alignments, wheel balancing, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure safety and compliance. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate precise repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs, welding, and component replacements. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair progress effectively with customers. Stay current with automotive repair trends, including updates on Domestic and Asian vehicles and diesel engine technology. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Extensive mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems such as transmissions, powertrain, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Skilled in using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic software to troubleshoot complex issues. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly to clients. Service technician experience in automotive service environments preferred.
