Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and fix a wide range of automotive issues efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work with with higher-end vehicles mainly focusing on British Automobiles ie. Aston Martin, Bentley' Jaguar, Rolls Royce etc, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance for our client's vehicles. Previous dealership experience is a plus, but we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostics tools inculding Manufacture Diagonstic Software and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and SUV's. Repair or replace transmissions, engines, brakes, shocks & struts, suspension components, hydraulics, and steering systems. Handle engine repairs including diesel engine on occasions and powertrain components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering tools, and fabrication techniques to complete repairs efficiently. Candidates must provide their own professional-grade tools required for the position Perform wheel alignments and tire services to ensure proper vehicle handling. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Assist in the assembly or disassembly of mechanical components as needed for repairs or upgrades. Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred. Extensive knowledge of automotive repair including transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulics, suspension, HVAC and brake systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics for complex mechanical systems and electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills and personal commuications. Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively about repairs and maintenance needs. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions for extended periods.
