Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Sanchez Auto is a small automotive shop that is growing and looking to add an Automotive Service Technician to our team. Job Responsibility/Duties: Perform work in an efficient and accurate manner. Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined on vehicles and identify potential troublesome areas. Communicate with service writer to understand the customer’s needs and to discuss necessary work to be performed. Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions. Repair malfunctions and damages as needed. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services. Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications. Document work performed. Test drive vehicles to ensure quality of work performed. Maintain a clean work environment. Mechanic Requirements: Great attitude. Outstanding customer service. Professional appearance. Strong time management. Team player. Attention to detail. Ability to learn and grow Self-motivated. Experience and skill requirements: High School diploma required. Good communication skills required. Ability to work 40 hours a week. Punctual attendance. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. Ability to work with your hands and arms on a regular basis. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. All positions require a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm. Pay varies based on experience.
