Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are operating efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs. Utilize schematics and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot vehicle problems effectively. Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Execute automotive repairs on various systems including powertrain, electrical, and suspension components. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and development. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or independent shop setting. We're currently looking for only A-techs & B-techs. Strong knowledge of automotive service procedures and repair techniques. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to vehicle systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately. Skills in welding and fabricating parts as needed for repairs is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Must have your own tools. Specialty tools will be provided by the shop. However, you must have your own sockets, pliers, impact wrenches, etc. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
