Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of engine, electrical, brake, suspension, and HVAC systems Complete routine maintenance services (oil changes, fluid flushes, inspections, tune-ups) Use advanced diagnostic tools and scan equipment to identify vehicle issues Accurately document all work performed on repair orders Provide repair recommendations and communicate findings to service advisors or management Conduct quality control checks and road tests after repairs Move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles safely within and around the service area, ensuring proper handling and organization of inventory and customer cars. Maintain overall shop cleanliness by sweeping floors, cleaning work bays, emptying trash, and keeping common areas organized and presentable. Assist with basic cleaning tasks such as washing vehicles, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring the shop and customer areas remain tidy and professional. Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer repair guidelines Assist in continuous improvement of shop efficiency and service quality Required Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience (dealer or independent shop preferred) Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience working on a wide range of vehicle makes and models Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver’s license with clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Certifications Candidates with the following certifications are strongly encouraged to apply: ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) – preferred or in progress Manufacturer-specific training or certifications (Audi, BMW, Porsche,Volkswagon etc.) a plus EV/hybrid vehicle training experience is a plus Smog/inspection certifications Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of engine performance, drivability, and electrical systems Proficiency with diagnostic scanners and automotive software Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage time effectively in a high-volume shop environment Commitment to quality workmanship (“fix it right the first time” mindset) Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Standing, bending, and working in mechanical environments for extended periods Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and under vehicles What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and skill level Steady workflow in a professional shop environment Opportunities for training and advancement Supportive team culture focused on quality and growth Access to modern tools and diagnostic equipment We are looking for an Automotive Technician who is passionate about cars, problem-solving, and high-quality repairs to join our growing team.
