Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Technician, where your passion for vehicle repair will drive customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. In this role, you will replace, repair, and maintain tires. Perform oil changes and other shop duties on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring top-notch service quality. Your skills will help keep our customers on the road with confidence. This is an exciting opportunity for an entry level or experienced Automotive Technician eager to showcase their technical skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties Tool Management — Retrieve, clean, and organize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment so technicians can work without interruption. Vehicle Prep — Move vehicles in and out of bays, remove trash, check fluid levels, and set up lifts or jacks for incoming jobs. Parts Assistance — Pick up parts, verify part numbers, restock consumables, and assist with returns or core exchanges. Basic Maintenance — Perform simple tasks such as tire inflation, battery charging, bulb replacement, and shop-equipment checks. Shop Cleanliness — Sweep bays, empty oil drains, maintain waste‑oil and recycling stations, and ensure OSHA‑safe conditions. Customer-Ready Prep — Light cleaning, floor mat installation, and ensuring vehicles are returned in professional condition. Qualifications Valid Driver’s License — Clean driving record, ability to move customer vehicles in and out of bays. Basic Mechanical Aptitude — Comfort with tools, engines, and shop equipment; ability to learn quickly. Tool Knowledge — Understanding of common hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Physical Stamina — Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment. Safety Awareness — Knowledge of PPE, lift safety, chemical handling, and OSHA basics. Attention to Detail — Ensures tools, parts, and vehicles are handled correctly. Teamwork Skills — Works smoothly with technicians, service advisors, and parts staff. Basic Computer Skills — Helpful for looking up parts, entering notes, or using shop management software.
