Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Conduct wheel alignments and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for precise repairs and troubleshooting. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently. Service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, including GM vehicles when applicable. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality control measures while providing excellent customer service. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and service technician roles. In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, schematics reading, and automotive diagnostics software. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and general inspections. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Experience with auto estimating software and familiarity with service processes for efficient workflow management.
