Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Fund Accounting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $145,000 to $190,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance of books and records for private investment funds and related accounts. Perform accounting and reconciliation for cash, investments, and asset transactions throughout the close cycle. Prepare monthly accruals, partner allocations, and calculations tied to distributions and capital activity. Produce periodic financial reports and performance analyses for investors and internal stakeholders. Coordinate with external parties such as auditors, custodians, administrators, and service providers. Requirements Ability to manage complex fund structures and apply investment accounting guidance accurately. Strong reconciliation and analytical skills to resolve variances and transaction issues. Previous experience working with financing arrangements, leverage facilities, and related accounting impacts. Capacity to handle detailed work independently while collaborating with cross functional teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain financial results clearly. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive experience in fund accounting, audit, or investment management environments. Background that includes exposure to public accounting and private investment operations. Working knowledge of fund accounting systems and advanced spreadsheet tools. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with professional certification. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex engagements efficiently. REF #52109
