Job Description Summary / Objective The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing meaningful therapeutic activities and events for residents in our memory care and assisted living community. This role supports the Life Enrichment Director in developing programming that fosters social engagement, physical activity, and emotional well-being. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility, and demonstrate commitment to Culture of Excellence and strategic goals. Develops and delivers a diverse calendar of daily activities that meet the recreational and therapeutic needs of residents, enhancing overall quality of life. Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director, other coordinators, volunteers, and interdisciplinary staff to provide well-rounded programs tailored to individual and group needs. Provides transportation for residents, with a focus on supporting frail individuals, using the community van or bus for medical appointments and community outings. Maintains positive, professional interactions with residents, families, coworkers, and management to ensure a warm and supportive environment that promotes service excellence. Required Education & Experience Geriatric education or relevant experience required. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a long-term care, home care, or related setting strongly preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; must be able to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Current First Aid certification in accordance with Title 22 requirements. Demonstrated positive work ethic and genuine compassion for older adults. Keep abreast of current state and federal laws and regulations relevant to long-term care facilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Office 365, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email software, is expected.
