Job Description
Terraform laC Development for AWS & Aviatrix The resource will be responsible for designing and delivering a scalable, repeatable Infrastructure-as-Code (laC) framework using Terraform to support network deployments across AWS and Azure, with a focus on Aviatrix managed environments. This includes the development of modular, reusable Terraform components to provision, update, and maintain Aviatrix network infrastructure such as transit gateways, spoke gateways, VPCNet costructs, and associated routing and security configurations. • Creation of standardized, reusable Terraform modules to support consistent multi-environment deployments (e.g., dev, staging, production). Implementation of infrastructure workflows that support both greenfield deployments and incremental updates to existing environments. Integration of Terraform code into GitHub repositories with version control best practices, including branching strategies and code review processes. Development of automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to validate, plan, and apply Terraform changes in a controlled and auditable manner. Establishment of naming conventions, tagging standards, and state management strategies (e.g., remote backends, locking) * Documentation of modules, workflows, and operational procedures to enable ongoing use and scalability by internal teams • The resource must possess strong expertise in cloud networking concepts, including IP addressing schemes, CIDR planning, routing, segmentation, and hybrid connectivity. Experience with Aviatrix architecture and multi-cloud networking patterns is essential, along with a solid understanding of Terraform best practices and automation pipelines
