About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex tax engagements, lead a team of tax professionals, and serve as a key point of contact for clients. Your expertise in federal and state taxation will be instrumental in ensuring compliance, providing strategic tax planning, and contributing to the overall growth of the firm. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a CPA license and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, with a Master’s in Taxation preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical proficiency in tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, along with experience managing multiple priorities and client relationships. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills are also critical for success in this role. Responsibilities Manage and review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws. Supervise, train, and mentor staff and senior team members on tax projects, fostering their professional development and growth within the firm. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, providing tax planning guidance, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. Conduct thorough tax research and stay informed on recent changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal planning strategies. Participate in strategic planning initiatives and contribute to the firm’s growth by identifying new opportunities and improving service delivery. Ensure all work complies with professional standards, firm policies, and government regulations, maintaining the highest level of quality and integrity. Benefits Jobot offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $120,000 to $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
