Position Overview Nanna’s Cafe & Bread Company is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Dishwasher to support our back-of-house kitchen operations. This position is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient gluten-free bakery and café environment. The Dishwasher ensures that all dishes, equipment, and kitchen areas are properly cleaned and sanitized to support daily food production and service. Core Responsibilities Dishwashing & Sanitation Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, baking pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher properly Maintain a steady supply of clean tools for cooks and bakers Follow all food safety and health department standards Keep dish area clean and organized throughout the shift Daily Cleaning Duties Sweep and mop kitchen floors daily Complete thorough end-of-shift mopping Remove trash regularly during shift Break down and remove cardboard from deliveries Ensure cardboard is taken out to designated disposal areas daily Support & Organization Restock cleaned items to proper storage areas Assist with basic cleaning and organizing tasks as needed Help maintain a safe, clutter-free back-of-house environment Support kitchen team during slower dish periods Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Able to lift up to 40 lbs (trash, cardboard, supply boxes) Reliable attendance and punctuality Team-oriented attitude Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
