Duties Prepare and assemble menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, portioning, and cooking ingredients with attention to detail and safety protocols Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils Follow food safety guidelines diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices are upheld at all times Support catering events or special meal services by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and accurately Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, ovens, mixers, and other culinary tools Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth kitchen operations during busy periods Requirements Prior experience in food handling, food safety procedures, and meal preparation techniques a must Proven culinary experience in restaurant or fine dining settings with excellent knife skills and cooking abilities Knowledge of menu planning and food industry standards for quality assurance Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills coupled with a proactive attitude toward food preparation and kitchen safety Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid sick time Work Location: In person
