Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Back of House Team Member, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you’ll support the kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with food assembly, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills. Support meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to safety regulations. Aid in menu planning and ingredient inventory management to ensure availability of fresh supplies. Support catering events and special functions by preparing dishes and ensuring timely service. Collaborate with culinary team members to execute daily kitchen operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable. Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including cooking and meal assembly. Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling practices. Skills in kitchen operations such as knife handling, food industry knowledge, and catering support. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
