Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Back of House Team Member to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Duties Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to menu specifications. Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, demonstrating strong knife skills. Support catering events by preparing food items as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Strong background in food service, including restaurant or culinary experience. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience with meal preparation and cooking techniques. Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus.
