Backup Technician - Pet Waste & Yard Service (Part-Time) $18-$21/hr 3 Set Days Per Week Job Overview We are hiring a Backup Technician to support service routes and perform door hanger distribution in targeted neighborhoods.This role supports daily operations by stepping in for route coverage when needed, while primarily focusing on door hanger distribution to support neighborhood growth.This is a structured, performance-based role focused on reliability, consistency, and execution.Position Structure Scheduled for 3 set days per week Works under the direction of a Lead Technician Supports both route operations and targeted growth efforts This is not an independent role.All work is performed within established systems and direction.Primary Responsibility Provide route coverage when needed to ensure all services are completed Step into active routes and complete assigned stops when required Primary Daily Activity (Most Days) Distribute door hangers in targeted neighborhoods Follow assigned areas and placement instructions Maintain consistent output and quality Door hanger distribution is the primary activity on most days when route operations are running normally.Work Priority Route coverage and service completion always come first Door hanger distribution is performed when operations are running smoothly Schedule Monday-Friday (assigned days) Start time:7:30 AM Part-time (3 set days per week) Workday ends when assigned work is complete Must be available and ready to work at 7:30 AM on scheduled days.Availability Requirement Must be available on scheduled days with no conflicts Must be able to complete full workdays when needed Cannot make other commitments during scheduled workdays Initial Commitment (Required) First 90 days require full commitment No vacations, time off, or scheduling conflicts Performance & Accountability This role includes measurable performance expectations Door hanger distribution is tracked per shift and must meet established targets Employees are expected to maintain consistent output and efficiency Work activity, route completion, and driving behavior are monitored and reviewed Performance & Expectations Must show up on time and consistently Complete assigned work efficiently and to standard Follow all systems and instructions (no guesswork) Take direction and apply feedback immediately This role requires reliability, consistency, and accountability.Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Must be 21 years or older Must have a valid driver's license Must have a clean driving record (no moving violations or at-fault incidents) Must pass a background check Must have a smartphone with reliable data access for work-related apps and communication Physical & Work Conditions Work outdoors 5-7 hours per day Perform physical, hands-on work Lift up to 50 lbs Work in all weather conditions Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes Daily exposure to pet waste Applicants must be fully comfortable performing this type of work.Company Standards Follow all company policies and procedures Maintain professional appearance No smoking or vaping in company vehicles or client properties Respect all company equipment and property Company Vehicle Use This position requires driving a company vehicle during work hours Employees must operate company vehicles safely and professionally at all times Driving behavior may be monitored and reviewed Employees are expected to:Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices Treat company vehicles and equipment with care Vehicle Policy No smoking or vaping in company vehicles No unauthorized passengers No personal use of company vehicles Chain of Responsibility Reports to the Lead Technician during daily operations All direction and corrections come from the Lead Who This Role Is For Reliable individuals who can follow direction and perform consistently People comfortable working independently outdoors Those who can handle both physical work and structured tasks This is not a casual position.This role is for someone who is here to work.Pay $18-$21/hr depending on performance Opportunity for additional hours based on operational needs Pay:From $18.00 per hour Expected hours:12.0 - 24.0 per week Application Question(s):Are you 21 years or older?
