What You’ll Do: Prepare and bake high-quality menu items according to ACBS recipes and production standards Execute decorating, finishing, and packaging for cakes, cheesecakes, pastries, cookies, and other desserts Prepare buttercreams, fillings, glazes, garnishes, and other bakery components Assemble, fill, finish, and decorate products based on production schedules and customer orders Execute consistent finishes for retail, catering, and custom orders Support production for seasonal and holiday menu launches Assist with daily prep, batching, equipment setup, and breakdown Maintain workstation cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards throughout shifts Properly package, label, and store finished products Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation standards Assist with inventory checks, product rotation, and minimizing waste Safely operate and maintain bakery tools and commercial kitchen equipment Communicate production or decorating issues to Leads and Management promptly Assist with additional bakery projects and kitchen support tasks as needed What We’re Looking For: Prior commercial bakery experience Culinary or pastry school training Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently Intermediate cake and pastry decorating skills including piping, borders, flowers, and writing Experience with vegan or gluten-friendly baking Fondant or specialty cake decorating experience Ability to lift 50 lbs & stand for long periods Comfortable with commercial baking equipment & heat sources Applicants MUST submit photos or examples of previous decorating work to be considered for the position. Availability to work Saturdays is required, along with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on bakery production needs.
