Duties Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes, ensuring quality and consistency Decorate cakes and desserts with precision and creativity to meet customer specifications and presentation standards Package baked items efficiently for retail display or catering orders while maintaining cleanliness and organization Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various bakery items Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices, adhering to food safety regulations, and maintaining a clean workspace Support catering events by preparing baked goods in large quantities and ensuring timely delivery Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Experience Previous experience in baking, pastry arts, or food production is highly preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and food handling procedures is desirable Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in a bakery or restaurant setting Skills in knife handling, baking techniques, and food preparation are essential for success in this role Experience working in the food industry or catering environment will help you excel in managing multiple tasks efficiently Strong customer service skills to engage with customers professionally and courteously Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Join us as a Bakery Associate where your culinary talents will shine!
