Bakery & Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Bakery & Food Service Operations Manager to support and lead both kitchen and restaurant operations.This is a working leadership role that includes food preparation, baking, customer service, and daily restaurant oversight.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in all areas of a restaurant--from creating menus and producing food to running the front counter and leading a team.Key Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen and restaurant operations Prepare food using grills, ovens, and baking equipment Create and update menus, including baked goods and prepared foods Lead, train, and support kitchen and front-of-house staff Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation Run the front counter as needed, including:Making all drinks Taking customer orders Cash handling and point-of-sale transactions Provide excellent customer service and resolve concerns professionally Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Manage inventory, ordering, and waste control Coordinate and assist with occasional catering events Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment Support daily scheduling and workflow planning Qualifications Previous restaurant, bakery, or kitchen leadership experience required Baking experience required; grill and cooking experience strongly preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent people skills with a customer-first mindset Comfortable working both front and back of house Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds if needed What We Offer Competitive pay:$20-$28/hour based on experience Consistent daytime schedule with work-life balance Supportive, team-oriented environment Leadership role with hands-on involvement Opportunity to grow and shape daily operations If you're a confident team lead who enjoys both food production and customer interaction, we'd love to hear from you Pay:$41,600.00 - $58,240.00 per year Benefits:401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
