A company is looking for a Product Counsel - Banking to support its Banking product team on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities Provide legal guidance to the Banking product and partnerships team throughout the product development lifecycle Advise on federal and state banking and money transmission regulations, ensuring compliance with consumer protection and disclosure requirements Draft and review terms of service, agreements, policies, and collaborate with various stakeholders to support product development and launches Required Qualifications 7+ years of relevant experience in law firms, government, or in-house legal teams Strong product counseling experience, preferably in fintech, payments, or financial services Deep understanding of banking regulations, including consumer protection and disclosure frameworks Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership Prior experience as product or regulatory counsel at a bank or fintech company
